Teacher and Early Years Practitioner Information and Awareness Sessions

As well as working with families, The Changing Lives Initiative provides training for those working with young children, in particular teachers and early years’ professionals.

Our two module Professional Information and Awareness session is provided by The Changing Lives’ Psychologist.

At these sessions participants get information on ADHD and how it might present in children. ADHD related symptoms and learning problems will also be examined. Participants are introduced to techniques, interventions and strategies to enhance outcomes and ensure success for children experiencing behaviour consistent with ADHD in the classroom. As well as providing practical approaches to benefit the child, our Psychologist will also offer whole class and whole school strategies.
